About us

Things have changed for us a little since we last updated our about us page! In August 2018, we welcomed our beautiful baby daughter Olive into the world. Here’s a photo of us a couple of weeks after she was born. That’s Suzi on the left, me (Sarah), on the right, and our Olive in the middle. We hadn’t planned to dress in our brand colours on the day, but maybe we did it subconsciously!

Our passion lies in family photography, in all its beautiful combinations. We take pictures and make films about life, love and connections. We’re based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, and travel all over this gorgeous county and further afield. We’ve been partners in life for over 13 years and in the business for 10. We love getting to know you, and telling your stories through our photographs and films.

Nature, people and our surroundings inspire our work and what we do. The true essence of a moment that happens in a particular time and place is precious. You often hear people saying that their most treasured possessions are their photos. For me, it’s the images of me and my sister growing up over the years, and the adventures we had, climbing trees, building dens, pretending we were in Swallows & Amazons. I have fond memories of us all huddled around the Quality Street tin where Mum and Dad keep our photos! For Suzi, photography has always been an important part of her life. Her Dad and Granddad always had cameras slung around their necks or a cine camera to hand. Suzi, as well as being a fantastic photographer, is also the studio manager. She is a great organiser and keeps everything running smoothly! She’s great at developing new ideas for the business and creating beautiful artwork and album designs for you.
